2024 Regular Socials - Update
We finally have confirmation from the venue on our dates for this years socials. The dates are:
7th April, 5th May, 30th June, 4th August, 29th Sept, 3rd Nov
The Xmas social (8th Dec) is not confirmed yet but we will let you know when it is.
The Address is: West Croydon and Kilkenny RSL, 19 Rosetta St, West Croydon
Dancing Starts at 1.30pm and concludes at 5pm at a cost of $15.

NOTE: For the last couple of years, the resident cook/chef Ivy and her team have been providing meals available prior to the social. The prices are very reasonable and the food delicious. However the support for these meals is inconsistent and is not proving particularly viable for them. She will support the next social (7th April) and then re-assess the continuation of the service. If you want it to continue, please join us from midday.

Club Merchandise
As part of our line dance offerings, we do have some "Line Dancers of South Australia" branded merchandise.
Having one of our apparel items avoids the worry of what to wear when going to class and allows you to blend in with the rest of the customers. We are trying to source a supplier that will provide the upgraded version of the clothing with the embedded silicon chip memory core with all the dance steps programmed in and the heads up display and ear piece, but supplies seem to be hard to get LOL.
We have a small range of un-allocated Black with Red Embroidery 30th birthday shirts, first come first served. $30 each. These are only produced every 5 years. - 1 Ladies 10, 1 Ladies 16, 1 Ladies 20
We also have two styles of regular club shirts (chiffon and polo) available as well as vests, jackets and scarves for the winter months.
We are currently ordering in a supply of Dance Socks. These pull over the toe of your shoe to provide slip on sticky floors. There are also full foot ones to enable dancing on carpet, should this be necessary.
Prices are:
  • Ladies Chiffon Tops (Black and Green)  sizes 10 - 22 for $25 each
  • Unisex Green Polo Shirts sizes Kids 8-14 for $25 each, Adult S-5XL for $30 each
  • Sleeveless Vests sizes S, M, L for $25 each
  • Long Sleeved Jackets sizes S - 4XL for $60 each (larger sizes may require ordering in)
  • Black Scarves for $10 each
  • Peters Book - "Line Dance Essentials" for $25 each
  • Terminology Manual - Including Levels 1+2+3 for $10 each
  • Dance Socks - Various colours for $10 a pair (coming soon)
Please speak to your instructor or contact the office to order any of these.
Moving Up Levels
Our classes are structured so that new people are not disadvantaged in doing material that is too difficult for them. The plan is that each class has dances taught that will challenge without too much frustration. If you find that you are getting bored with the material being offered at your class, you are ready to try out the next level. You can get a taste of this at the socials, and can experiment with dances outside your comfort zone.
We have created Transition (4) and Crossover (6) classes to create a soft means of moving up to Mainstream (4 & 5) and Intermediate (6 & 7), so take advantage of the opportunities.
Soon our Intermediate class will become an Experimental/Challenge class, and will be trying out some of the classic Advanced dances from Yesteryear. If this interests you, come and see us at our new home in South Plympton on Tuesday nights.
